Cheyenne Mountain Resort Wedding | Colorado Springs | Wendy + Evan
We deal with many military weddings here in Colorado Springs. It has been especially hard over the past decade with deployments. Wendy was in Las Vegas planning her wedding here in Colorado Springs while her fiancé was deployed. I know the stress was hard for her, especially with her family far away. She pulled it off like a pro though! I knew these images would be especially important to them when dealing with being apart from another during deployment.
Their wedding day was completely magical. They had a super romantic ceremony with close friends and family. Their rabbi was even kind enough to fly in from New Jersey! We were so very honored to have been there to document such a special day for Wendy and Evan.
Wendy created the flowers for her wedding herself and did an excellent job. You could see her caring hand in many of the details of her wedding. I was so impressed that she carried all this out from so far away.
Of course, during this rainy summer we had the threat of storms but, they bypassed us long enough for a wonderful outdoor ceremony at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort and some great photos with the family and wedding party on the golf course.
They had a wonderful wedding party that laughed and joked and danced the night away at the reception. It was truly an amazing day. I am so happy for your Wendy and Evan! Thank you for choosing us to photograph your Cheyenne Mountain Resort wedding!
