Winter Engagement Portraits at North Cheyenne Cañon Park

Winter in Colorado…. you just don’t know what you’re going to get! I was hoping for some of the pretty white stuff for this nice couple since they were coming from Texas where you just don’t see that much snow. They wanted to do some of their engagement photos at Helen Hunt Falls which is great because it is frozen this time of year. If you head on up North Cheyenne Canon Park it progressively gets higher and colder so the likelihood of some snow, at least on the ground was good. North Cheyenne Canon Park is a great place for engagement portraits. It offers a lot of variety, especially if you are up to taking the time to explore your options. We utilized the wonderful stone bridges when the sun was out streaming through the trees and then got our wintery snow land at Helen Hunt Falls. At the top by Gold Camp Road is an awesome overlook as well as a rock tunnel that is just gorgeous. Tammy and Ryan were a sweet and cute couple. Ryan thought he wouldn’t look good in any photos but, I beg to differ! He is a handsome guy. They will be getting married this August outside of Austin, Texas. Congrats guys!
